Using Large Capacity Stacker LS-505

Large Capacity Stacker LS-505 has a stacker (on the carriage) and a secondary (sub) tray, each of which
provides the following output modes.

6.8.1

Outputting to the Stacker

Combining with the output modes above, you can also select the desired Face ([Face Up] or [Face Down])
and Order ([1 to N] or [N to 1]), as needed.

Position the original.

Press [COPY] tab to display the Copy Screen.

Press [Output Setting].

The Output Setting Screen will be displayed.

Output tray positions are indicated as square marks on the front image of the machine, and the tray
currently selected appears highlighted.

Select the desired output mode.

% Select one of [Offset Sort], [Sort], [Offset Group], and [Group] keys provided under [Output].

% Selecting [Offset Sort] or [Offset Group] displays the Output Offset Screen. Use the touch panel key-

pad to enter the desired number of sets to be offset. Available range is from 1 to 9,999. When fin-
ished with the entry, press [OK].

Output mode

Description

[Offset Sort]

Outputs multiple copies of the original set, having the specified number of
sorted sets offset by 20 mm upon exit to the stacker. Copies can also be
offset by specified number of sorted sets, from 1 to 9,999.

[Sort]

Outputs multiple copies of the original set. Copies are stacked upon exit
without being offset.

[Offset Group]

Groups together multiple copies of each original and offsets the sets upon
exit. Copies can also be offset by specified number of grouped sets, from
1 to 9,999.

[Group]

Groups together multiple copies of each original. Copies are stacked upon
exit without being offset.
