3.8 Hold Setting 3
With [Hold + Print] or [Hold] selected, the keys [File Name] and [Password] becomes available on the
screen.
The entry of [File Name] can be omitted. In this case, the machine assigns the last 4 digits of the job ID
to be created automatically.
The entry of [Password] can be omitted. You will be free from password entry in operating the job with-
out a password assigned.
% Proceed to step 5 to enter [File Name].
% Proceed to step 7 to enter [Password]
% Proceed to step 9, if both entries are to be omitted.

Press [File Name].
The File Name Screen will be displayed.

Enter the desired file name, then press [OK].
% Up to 64 alphanumeric characters including symbols can be entered for a file name. A name can be
shared by multiple files.

Press [Password].
The Password Setting Screen will be displayed.

Enter the desired password, then press [OK].
% Up to 8 alphanumeric characters can be entered for a password.
