3.7 Setting Reserve Job
In a copy operation, the machine allows you to set up a new job while scanning a current job. Scanning the
next job becomes available when the current job is completed with scanning and starts printing.
This operation is called "reserve job setting."
When the current job is finished, the reserve job starts printing immediately.

Service can set the machine to disable this function. Contact your service representative, if desired.

Up to 100 reserve jobs can be entered.

Press [COPY] tab to display the Copy Screen.
When the machine starts to scan the current job, the following dialog will pop up on the Copy Screen.
Press [Yes] to make a reserve job setting.
% For the Job List Screen selected as default, the same dialog will also be displayed. Operate as de-
scribed above to obtain the same result.
% The default screen setting can be made from the Utility Menu Screen. For details, see Section 9 of
the User's Guide - Main Body.
Pressing [No] will return to the Machine Screen with the message [Printing in progress] displayed. At
this point, pressing [COPY] tab will display the Copy Screen and allows you to make a reserve job set-
ting.

Select copy conditions for the reserve job as desired, position the original, then press Start on the con-
trol panel.
Repeat steps 1 and 2. Up to 100 reserve jobs can be entered. To check and operate reserve jobs, press
[JOB LIST] tab to display the Job List Screen.
