6.2 Setting Binding Direction for Duplex Copies
Use this setting to make top-bound duplex copies.
To make duplex copies printed upside down on the reverse side from single- or double-sided originals having
the same edge as page top, select [Top] for Bind Direction in the Output Setting. Select [Right & Left] for nor-
mal copying.

To obtain side-bound simplex or duplex copies from top-bound double-sided originals, select [Top] in the
Original Setting.
This setting makes simplex or duplex copies having the same edge as page top, from double-sided originals
printed upside down on the reverse side.

Top binding for duplex copies properly functions only when [2->2] or [2->1] is selected.

When the machine is reset, [Right & Left] will be resumed.
0 If [Top] of Bind Direction is specified in the Output Setting, [Top] of Bind Direction in the Original Setting
does not function properly.

Press [COPY] tab to display the Copy Screen.
