Positioning the Original

Do not load more than 100 sheets of the original and do not place originals over the limit line indicated
on the paper guides. The original may be misfed or damaged, or machine trouble may be caused.

Position the original FACE UP (with page one UP).

Place mixed size originals aligned with the left rear side of the ADF.

Up to 100 sheets of the original can be set at a time.

Adjust paper guides to the original.

NOTICE

Do not open the ADF once you close the ADF. The selected
copy conditions may be altered automatically.

To position the original in Z-Folded mode

The Z-Folded Original mode detects the z-folded original size without using the size detection sensor of the
ADF.
