Position the original.

Press [COPY] tab to display the Copy Screen.

Press [Original Setting].
The Original Setting Screen will be displayed.

Select the desired mode key from under [Type].

Press [OK] to return to the Copy Screen.
% Press [Default Set] to restore the initial setting, or press [Cancel] to resume the previous setting.
% Printing will not start without the Copy Screen displayed. Please make sure to display the Copy
Screen.
3.2.4 Specifying Printed Original Type: Image Type
Improve the print quality by specifying the printed original type as described below.
This setting is effective for copies in Full Color mode.
Photo
Select to reproduce a half-tone photo image, which can hardly be repro-
duced in normal mode.
Text
Select to copy originals composed of text only. In this mode, the edges of
copied text will be sharpened to provide higher legibility.
Map
Select to copy colored originals with small text, such as a map.
