Installing the safety shield
1. Hang the safety shield (1) on the edge of the heating bath (2) and position
it so that it does not interfere with the opening of the guard hood
(if present).
2. Turn eccentric screw (3) by 180° to clamp the safety shield to the heating
bath

Boiling temperature sensor
The boiling temperature sensor can not be used when using the temperature
sensor T auto.
1. Remove the screw cap on the condenser.
2. Insert the boiling temperature sensor in the condenser so that the white
PTFE side of the seal (2) faces the glass thread.
3. Secure the boiling temperature sensor with the screw connector cap.
4. Connect the bayonet plug (1) to the socket on the rear of the instrument
