Do not apply excess pressure to the instrument.

Do not use the instrument in a corrosive atmosphere.

2.4 Use in potentially explosive environments

Do not use the instrument in potentially explosive environments. The

instrument is not explosion-proof.

2.5 Responsibilities of the operator

Keep the instrument in technically sound condition.

Ensure that the instrument is only used by qualified personnel.

Ensure that users have been instructed in safe and responsible laboratory

work practices.

Ensure that the rotary evaporator is set up in a suitable location.

2.6 Responsibilities of the operating personnel

Ensure that the distillation material can be evaporated without danger and

that the residues are not explosive.

2.7 Qualifications of the operating personnel

The rotary evaporator is designed for use by qualified chemical and technical

specialists. It may only be used by persons that have been instructed in its

proper use.

2.8 Safety-conscious
