4.5.4 Mounting the vertical condenser (G3–G6) to the condenser
holder
This step is not required for horizontal condensers (G1).
Stand rod is installed.

Version glassware G3, G4 and G6:
1. Slide cross sleeve (3) onto the stand rod (1) and fix it with the clamping
screw.
2. Place the condenser clamp (2) around the condenser and attach it to the
stand rod with the clamping screws.
– Adjust the stand rod to the angle of the glassware.
– Fix the stand rod with the Allen screw (see also chapter 4.5.1,
page 87).
1. Version glassware G5 (cooling water independent):
– Insert the complete cooling trap holder into the transverse hole of the
cross sleeve (2).
– Lock into place with the clamping screw.
– Adjust the stand rod (1) to the angle of the glassware.
– Place the cooling trap holder on the cooling trap jacket.
– Fix the cooling trap jacket with the clamping strap of the cooling trap
holder.
– Fix the stand rod (1) with the Allen screw (see also chapter 4.5.1,
page 87).
