Unpack the rotary evaporator and ensure that it is complete and

undamaged.

In case of damage, please inform Heidolph Instruments service

(see chapter 8.4, page 125).

4.2 Transport

Vibration and mechanical shocks!

Damage to the housing and mechanism of the instrument.

Avoid vibration and mechanical shocks.

Ensure that the heating bath is empty.

Remove all hose and cable connections to other instruments, the cooling

water/vacuum connection, and unplug the instrument from the AC power

socket.

Hold the underside of the instrument base.

4.3 Setting up the instrument base

Chemicals may be released into the atmosphere via the pump when handing

hazardous materials and distilling with solvents.

Ensure that an exhauster is available for the exhaust air of the pump.

Do not set up the rotary evaporator in a corrosive atmosphere.

Choose a level, firm base.

Check on delivery
