6.3 Determining the boiling temperature (with optional

boiling temperature sensor)

Connecting a boiling temperature sensor during operation:

Switch the instrument off and back on to activate the program section.

The boiling temperature will be shown on the display of the control panel when

the boiling temperature sensor is connected.

Press Select (Fig. 6-1 (6)) until Act Vap LED is lit.

The boiling temperature is visible on the display (Fig.

6-1 (8)).

6.4 Controlling the vacuum

Together with the VAC senso T vacuum controller and the vacuum valve, the

Laborota 4002 / 4003 control is a unit that permits the vacuum to be controlled

via the opening and closing of a valve.
Together with the ROTAVAC vario control vacuum pump, the Laborota 4002 /

4003 control is a unit that permits the vacuum to be controlled via the speed of

the vacuum pump.

The aeration valve is always open when the vacuum controller is switched off.

Check glass parts for damage (cracks, chips, etc.)

Use only glass parts that are in flawless condition.

Press Vac Start Stop (Fig. 6-1 (13)) button.

Press the Vac Start Stop (Fig.

off.
