Adjust the depth to which the temperature sensor T auto extends into the

condenser so that the lower edge of the sensor is positioned at 2/3 of the

condenser height.

1. Remove the screw cap at the vacuum connection.
2. Insert the temperature sensor T(auto) into the vacuum connection so that

the white PTFE side (3) of the seal faces the glass thread.

3. Slide the temperature sensor T(auto) to adjust its depth in the condenser.
4. Lock the temperature sensor T(auto) in place with the screw connector

cap (1).

5. Connect the bayonet plug (2) to the socket on the rear of the instrument

(see chapter

4.4.4, page 84).

Connect the bayonet plug of the remote control to the socket on the rear of

the instrument (see chapter 4.4.4, page 84).

Raising and lowering the lift

1. Press the arrow buttons (3) on the remote control.

Starting vacuum/rotation (Laborota 4003 only):

1. Press the Vac Start Stop (2) or Rot Start Stop (1) buttons on the remote

control.
