Type the IP address of the EtherNet/IP Communications Auxiliary.

Type the value for the time between each scan of the module. The
recommended RPI time is 250 ms. Ensure that the Inhibit Module is not
checked.

Click OK to add the EtherNet/IP Communications Auxiliary to the I/O
Configuration in RSLogix 5000.

Accessing Generic Module Data

With both the ControlLogix controller and the EtherNet/IP network
configured, the ControlLogix controller can exchange data with the EtherNet/IP
Communications Auxiliary.

Go online, then switch the controller to Remote Run mode.
