Creating a Sample Application
This chapter provides step-by-step instructions on how to create the sample
application described in Chapter 3. It shows how to:
D start the DTAM Plus Programming Software
D create an application file
D enter configuration data
D create application screens
D link application screens
D create an alarm screen
D save the application and exit the software
To run the DTAM Plus Programming Software:
1. Verify that you are at the \DPS subdirectory where the software resides.
If you are not, enter cd DPS and press [Return].
C:\DPS>
2. Type DPS and press [Return] to start the program.
C:\DPS> DPS [Return]
3. Specify whether you are using a color monitor. Enter Y or N.
4. The startup screen displays. It identifies the DPS version and licensed
owner. A phone support number is provided for your assistance.
