Using This Manual

No special knowledge is needed to create and run the sample DTAM Plus
application in this manual. You should understand the operation of an
SLC 500 and also how to enter and load a ladder logic program.
This manual uses the following conventions:
D Keys that you press on your personal computer keyboard are enclosed in
brackets [ ].
For example: [Esc] refers to the Escape key
D [Return] refers to the carriage return key of your computer keyboard.
This key may appear on your keyboard as [Enter] or [ ].
D Text strings that you enter on your computer keyboard are bold.
For example: Type 1 Pump Application and press [Return]
D References to text that appears on your computer monitor are italicized.
For example: Pressing [Esc] returns you to the Edit File menu.
