11.2.3 Copying the system software and license to the slave RPU
Do as follows on the router you want to upgrade.
Step 1 Run:
copy s o u r c e - f i l e n a m ^ e s l a v e ^ f l a s h i / d e s t i n a t i o n - f i l e n a m e
This command copies the system software and license to the flash memory of the slave RPU.

NOTE
If you need to copy multiple files to the flash memory of the slave RPU, repeat the preceding steps.
This command only applies to the Secure Router 8012.
11.2.4 Checking the configuration
Run the following commands to check the previous configuration.
Action Command
Check the file information for the dir flash:
master RPU.
dir :
Check the file information for the dir flash:
slave RPU.
dir slave#:

NOTE
The dir slave#flash: command applies only to the Secure Router 8012.
After you upload the files, run the preceding commands to show information about the
uploaded files. For example, check the file information in flash memory for the master RPU.
