11.3.3 Specifying the system software for the next startup of the
slave RPU
Do as follows on the router you want to upgrade.
Run:
startup system-software f i l e - n a m e slave-board
This command specifies the system software package for the next startup of the slave RPU.
CD NOTE
This command only applies to the Secure Router 8012.
11.3.4 Checking the configuration
Run the following commands to check the previous configuration.
Action Command
Display information about the startup
system software.
display startup
Run the display startup command to display whether the system software in the next startup
of the router is the system software specified in the upgrade operation. The system software is
the same for the master and slave RPUs.
