Number

of blinks

Explanation

1

One blink indicates that the IHS Complete signal has not been returned within 30 seconds
after the plasma START command has been given.

2

Two blinks indicates that an “interlock” error has occurred.

3

Three blinks indicates that an interlock failed during plasma cutting.

4

Four blinks indicates that the HOLD input (for multi-torch systems) was not released within
30 seconds after the end of preflow.

5

Five blinks indicates that the transfer of the arc to the workpiece was not sensed within
75 milliseconds of torch ignition.

6

Six blinks indicates that current was lost during ramp up.

7

Seven blinks indicates that current was lost from choppers #1 (CH1) or #2 (CH2).

8

Eight blinks indicates that current was lost from choppers #3 (CH3) or #4 (CH4).

9

Nine blinks indicates that the current was lost during ramp down.

10

Ten blinks indicates that injection water pressure was lost in TEST mode.

11

Eleven blinks indicates that injection water pressure was lost during plasma cutting.

12

Twelve blinks indicates that current from slave was lost.

13

Thirteen blinks indicates that the slave is not connected.

14

Fourteen blinks indicates that there is a software program error.

15

Fifteen blinks indicates that the input voltage has dropped below 15% of the nominal
value. Eg: Input voltage for a 480V power supply drops below 408V.
