NMEA Messages
This section provides steps to add NMEA messages to an output list, and to configure and
delete messages from the list. The receiver has the ability to output industry standard
NMEA-0183 data strings, and one NCT Proprietary NMEA-0183 type string.

9 Select Receiver > Messages > NMEA output from the menu bar (see Figure 32). The NMEA
Messages window opens with the current message output list (see Figure 33).

Click the Apply button and then click the Retrieve button to confirm that the
receiver accepts new settings.
„ Add Messages
9 Right-click in a blank Message Type cell. A menu opens with a list of messages (see
Figure 34).
9 Click on a message in the menu to add it to the list.

The default port of a new message is Port A, and the default rate is On Change.
Refer to the next section to configure the port and/or rate if necessary.
