Based on these values shown above, a good place for the M ODBUS P ORT X
C OMMAND E RROR P OINTER is address 1500, as shown.
With the C OMMAND E RROR P OINTER set to address 1500, this will place your
Command Error Data at addresses starting at 1500 of the module memory, and
because of the before mentioned configuration of the B
ACKPLANE
C ONFIGURATION R EAD R EGISTER S TART and R EAD R EGISTER C OUNT parameters,
the command error data will be placed into the tags beginning at
MCMR.DATA.R
EAD D ATA [500].
