Chapter 5 Shooting — Multi manual function
Multi manual function
Operate the multidial to change settings and perform other operations without displaying the menu.
Operations can also be performed by pressing the <
= / & > button, < ( > button, <SET> button, and <EXIT> button.
You can execute the following functions.
Display of the camera image screen Function
[ ICONS]
Displays the operation icon screen.
[ WB]
Sets the variable value for the white balance.
[ SHUTTER]
Sets the shutter speed.
[ SYNCHRO]
Sets the synchro scan shutter speed.
[ FRAME RATE]
Sets the frame rate of the variable frame rate recording function.
[ AREA]
Adjusts the area size/area position of the area mode function.
[ AF AREA]
Adjusts the width of the auto focus area.
Displaying the operation icon screen

Turn the multidial to display the [ ICONS].

Press the multidial.
The operation icon screen is displayed.
Setting the variable value for the white balance

Turn the multidial to display the [ WB].

Press the multidial.
The white balance display is highlighted in orange.

Turn the multidial to select the color temperature.

Press the multidial.
The setting changes to the value displayed and exits.
Press the <EXIT> button to exit without changing the setting.

t [ WB] is only displayed when the following conditions are satisfied.
‑ The <WHITE BAL> switch is in the <PRST> position
‑ The [CAMERA] menu → [SW MODE] → [W.BAL PRESET] is set to [VAR]
‑ The auto tracking white balance function is disabled
‑ IR recording is disabled
Setting the shutter speed

Turn the multidial to display the [ SHUTTER].

Press the multidial.
The shutter speed display is highlighted in orange.

Turn the multidial to select the shutter speed.

Press the multidial.
The setting changes to the value displayed and exits.
The synchro scan settings start when the shutter speed display is a decimal.
Press the <EXIT> button to exit without changing the setting.

t [ SHUTTER] is displayed when the shutter function is enabled and set to manual shutter.
t Press the <SHUTTER> button to enable/disable the shutter function.

Turn the multidial to display the [ SHUTTER].

Press the multidial.
The shutter speed display is highlighted in orange.

Turn the multidial to select the shutter speed of the decimal display.
