and Port 2

blinking

The SFP+ port has
TX/RX activity.

Off for an
extended
period

The SFP+ port is not linked.

Check the Link LED to make sure the
link is still established with the remote
port. If not, take the actions described
in the Meaning or Action column for the
Link LED.

Verify that the port has not been
disabled through a configuration
change. You can use the CLI. If you
have configured an IP address on the
device, you also can use the Web
Management Interface or Brocade
Network Advisor.

Interface Module

Link or Activity

On or
blinking

A link is established
with the remote port
and the port is
transmitting and
receiving user
packets.

Off

At this stage of the installation, you have not
yet cabled the Gigabit Ethernet ports, so this
LED will be off.

After cabling this port, if this LED is off, a
link is not established with the remote port.

module is supplying
power to the device.

Off

The port is not providing in-line power.

AC and DC Power Supplies

AC OK (AC
supply only)

ON - Green

The power supply is
receiving AC power
from an AC power
source

OFF

The power supply is not receiving power
from an AC power source. You can do the
following:

Make sure that the power supply cord
is connected securely to the wall outlet
and the power supply.

Make sure that the wall outlet is rated
for 115 or 120V and 20A. If it is not,
obtain a cable that is compatibly rated
for the outlet.

Make sure that the wall outlet has
power.
