Description

Defines the parameters of a new WLAN.

Syntax

create

wlan

<number>

Displays newly created WLAN and policy number.

set

ess

<essid>

Defines the ESSID for a target WLAN.

wlan-name

<name>

Determines the name of this particlular WLAN (1-32).

<mode>

Enables or disables access to the Mobility 5181 Access Point
802.11a radio.

11bg

<mode>

Enables or disables access to the Mobility 5181 Access Point
802.11b/g radio.

mesh

<mode>

Enables or disables the Client Bridge Mesh Backhaul option.

<mode>

Enables or disables the Hotspot mode.

<number>

Defines the maximum number of Client able to operate within the
WLAN (default = 127 Clients).

idle-timeout

<number>

Sets the Client idle tmeout in minutes. The default value is 30
minutes.

Sets the security policy to the WLAN (1-32).

Sets the Client ACL policy to the WLAN (1-32).
