Table 9. View MAC Addresses Window

Selection

Definition

View All

Displays all dynamic and static unicast or
multicast addresses in the MAC address
table.

View Static

Displays the static unicast or multicast
addresses assigned to the ports.

View Dynamic

Displays the dynamic addresses learned
on the ports.

View MAC Addresses on
Port

Displays the dynamic and static MAC
addresses of a particular port. You can
specify more than one port at a time.

View MAC Addresses for
VLAN

Displays the static and dynamic
addresses learned on the tagged and
untagged ports of a VLAN. You specify
the VLAN by entering the VLAN ID
number. You can specify only one VLAN
at a time.

View MAC Address

Displays the port number where a MAC
address was assigned or learned. In
some situations, you might want to know
which port learned a particular MAC
address. You could display the MAC
address table and scroll through the list
looking for the MAC address, but if the
switch is part of a large network, finding
the address could prove difficult. This
option allows you to specify the MAC
address and let the AT-S63 Management
Software automatically locate the port
where the address was learned.
