-msg xx xx xx ... – Send properly formatted msg (appends SOH and CRC).
-raw xx xx xx ... – Send raw hexadecimal msg (illegal msgs possible).
-ver – Returns the version information.
When using ArbSer, the serial port and baud rate can be changed from the default of
COM1 and 9600 bps. Then, one of the options must be selected. The most useful ones
are ‘
-go ’, ‘ -msg ’, and ‘ -ver ’. These commands provide the ability to exercise every feature
of the modules.
Reading a Tag
Now that the module is connected to the PC and is powered on, the ArbSer.exe program
is used to communicate with it. Send the sequence of commands described in this
section.
The raw hexadecimal output sent through the serial port is shown following the ArbSer
command. This is an example of the exact serial traffic sent to the Microprocessor.
