The kill password must correspond to the kill password programmed in the tag.

Note

If the tag’s kill password is set to 0, the protocol does not allow the tag to be
killed. A non-zero kill password must be set (using the

Write Tag Data

command) before the kill command succeeds. The RFU field should be set
to 0.
