Tag ID Buffer Faults
The following table lists the common faults discussed in this section.
FAULT_TAG_ID_BUFFER_NOT_ENOUGH_TAGS_AVAILA
BLE – 600h
Cause
A command was received to get a certain number of tag ids from the tag id buffer. The
reader contains less tag ids stored in its tag id buffer than the number the host is sending.
Solution
Send a Get Tag ID Buffer command to ascertain how many tags are in the buffer. You
can get the exact number of tags as long as they are less than or equal to the number
returned by the previous command.
FAULT_TAG_ID_BUFFER_FULL – 601h
Cause
The tag id buffer is full.
Solution
Send Clear Tag ID Buffer or Get Tag ID Buffer command with the number of tags to
read, to get more space See
