Functions you can access from outside phones
The list below shows the digits you can dial after the auto attendant
answers.

Function performed

0

Performs the action defined in the auto attendant
configuration (see 2.4.2 Auto attendant on page 80
for details).

3-digit local ext.

Rings at the local extension (i.e. 111). See Extension
numbers
on page 189.

3-digit
remote ext.

Rings at the local extension (i.e. 211). See Extension
numbers
on page 189.

300–309
Extension Ring
Groups

Rings all the extensions in the ring groups. There are 10
ring groups for the entire system.

1, 2, 3, 4 and 5

Performs the action defined in the auto attendant
configuration (see 2.4.2 Auto attendant on page 80 for
details).

6

Enters call back configuration (see 2.5 Call Back/Call
Bridge
on page 98 f
or details).

7 and
extension

Transfers a caller on hold to another phone system used
in conjunction with TalkSwitch. As soon as the call
connects to the other system, it disconnects from
TalkSwitch.

9 and 81–88

Accesses line hunt groups for call bridge and is protected
with the administrator password.

Accesses the call bridge feature using Same Line Connect
Requires 3–way calling/conference on the line.

Dials into a local, remote or general voice mailbox to
leave a message.

mailbox number

general voicemail)

Accesses voicemail of a local, remote or general
voice mailbox. You can retrieve messages, change
greetings, password, etc.
