Section 16: Pitch & Speed Operation

Refer to the information in Section 3 to start up the console and use the sport insert. Read Section 3
carefully to fully understand the following operator instructions and for MENU KEY operations.

The Pitch and Speed Operation interfaces with a JUGS radar gun and displays the speed and
pitch type on a matrix display, or just the speed on a fixed digit display. It can be operated in
manual control (Code 191), where the pitch type is displayed when the pitch type key is pressed,
or it can operate automatically (Code 192) where the speed is displayed when the speed data is
received from the radar gun.

The STALKER radar gun can be interfaced to using code 193 for manual or code 194 for
automatic.

Key Functions

PITCH KEYS

>

FAST BALL, CURVE BALL, CHANGE UP etc. When the pitch type is pressed, the
pitch type and the speed are sent from the console as Real Time Data (RTD)
information.

DISPLAY SPEED

>

Sends the speed to the display as speed only (blank frame)

BLANK DISPLAY

>

This key blanks the speed and sends the blank frame for display

BLANK TIME

!>

Edits the time until speed and pitch are blanked from the display. If the blank time is set
to zero the console will not blank the speed and pitch type.

SPEED

!>

Edits the speed value that is to be displayed

SHOW MPH

>

Displays the speed in MPH and stop cycling speed. This is for fixed digit displays.

SHOW KPH

>

Displays the speed in KPH and stop cycling speed. This is for fixed digit displays.

CYCLE MPH

KPH

>

When speed is displayed cycle between MPH 1st and KPH 2nd at the cycle time rate.
This is for fixed digit displays.

CYCLE KHP

/

MPH

>

When speed is displayed cycle between KPH 1st and MPH 2nd at the cycle time rate.
This is for fixed digit displays.

CYCLE TIME

Sets the time for the cycle rate in seconds.
