6 IVM service report

The IVM service report function is implemented through the report function of the IMC Platform. The IMC

Platform uses report templates to generate real-time reports and scheduled reports. Operators can use

the user-defined report templates generated by iAR or the report templates provided by IVM to generate
reports.
All IMC Platform reports are available in the Report tab. For information about the reports, see HP

Intelligent Management Center v7.0 Enterprise and Standard Platform Administrator Guide. This

example describes how to generate real-time reports and scheduled reports by using IVM report

templates.

Real-time report

By specifying certain report parameters, operators can quickly view IVM real-time reports in the Report
tab of the IMC Platform. Operators can export real-time reports in the format of RPT, PDF, XLS, RTF, or CSV,

and print the reports.
Each IVM report template can be used to generate real-time reports.

IKE tunnel outbound dropped packets report

You can establish an IPsec tunnel manually or through IKE. An IPsec tunnel established through IKE uses

an IKE tunnel for automatic key negotiation and IPsec SA establishment. IVM can collect statistics for the

IKE packets dropped in the outbound direction of the IKE tunnel. These packets are sent to the peer end
of the tunnel.
To view the IKE tunnel outbound dropped packets report:

1.

Click the Report tab.

2.

In the My Real Time Reports area, click the IKE tunnel outbound dropped packets report link.
The parameter setting page appears.

{

Statistical Range—Select the tunnels of which you want to collect statistics. Options include All
tunnels and VPN domain names created in IVM. If you select All tunnels, the report involves the

tunnels in the network domains, as well as the tunnels not configured through IVM.
