5.3.3.4 exec-timeout

This command sets the remote connection session timeout value, in minutes. A session is
active as long as the session has been idle for the value set. A value of 0 indicates that a
session remains active indefinitely. The time is a decimal value from 0 to 160.

Note:
Changing the timeout value for active sessions does not become effective until the
session is reaccessed. Any keystroke will also activate the new timeout duration.

Syntax

exec-timeout <1-160>

no exec-timeout

<sec> - max connect time (Range: 1 -160).

no - This command sets the remote connection session timeout value, in minutes, to the default.

This command is used to set the password instruction threshold limited for the number of
failed login attempts.

Syntax

password-threshold <0-120>

no password-threshold

<threshold> - max threshold (Range: 0 - 120).

no - This command sets the maximum value to the default.
