no username <username>

<username> - is a new user name (Range: up to 8 characters).

no - This command removes a user name created before.
Note: The admin user account cannot be deleted.

nopassword - This command sets the password of an existing operator to blank. When a password is
changed, a prompt will ask for the operator's former password. If none, press enter.

5.7.2.2 username snmpv3 authentication

This command specifies the authentication protocol to be used for the specified login user.
The valid authentication protocols are none, md5 or sha. If md5 or sha are specified, the
user login password will be used as the snmpv3 authentication password. The <username>
is the login user name for which the specified authentication protocol will be used.

Syntax

username snmpv3 authentication <username> {none | md5 | sha}

no username snmpv3 authentication <username>

<username> - is the login user name.

md5 - md5 authentication method.

sha - sha authentication method.

none - no use authentication method.

no - This command sets the authentication protocol to be used for the specified login user to none. The
<username> is the login user name for which the specified authentication protocol will be used.

Default Setting

No authentication
