4.2 PoWER STEERiNG RELoCATioN (2010

A. Locate the power steering assembly 4FU110-
101.
B. Attach the P/S relocation bracket 4FU010-101
using the hardware provided to the P/S reser-
voir removed in an earlier section. (See Fig.
4.2-a.)
C. Locate the factory 3/4" and 3/8" PS hose and
cut off the 90° bend as shown. (See Fig 4.2b)
F. Remove the inboard 13MM headed strut mount
nuts and install PS reservoir assembly in loca-
toin shown. Route hoses toward the front of
the vehicle away from exhaust and moving
objects.
G. Connect previously installed PS hoses from
reservoir the the factory PS hoses using the
appropriate unions and hose clamps
D. Using a 3/4" brass union and two stepless
clamps, attach the 90° bend to a length of sup-
plies 3/4" hose as shown. Do the same to the
3/8" hose. (See Fig 4.2-c)

PREPARATION/REMOVAL
E. Attach the 90° 3/4" and 3/8" you trimmed off
to reservoir using the factory clamps. Attach
the provided 3/4" and 3/8" hose to the 90° hose
using the barb unions and the stepless clamps.
