Spanning Tree Commands

State

The current state of the port. Possible values are; DISABLED, BLOCKING, LISTENING,
LEARNING, and FORWARDING.

Path Cost

The configured path cost for this port.

Designated Cost

The path cost to the root bridge for this port.

Desig Root Addr

The MAC address for the root bridge.

Desig Root Prior

The bridge priority for the root bridge.

Desig Brdg Addr

The MAC address for the designated bridge.

Desig Brdg Prior

The bridge priority for the designated bridge.

Desig Port Number

The port number on the designated bridge.

Desig Port Prior

The port priority for the port on the designated bridge.

Topology Chng Ack

The topology change acknowledgment value to be transmitted in the next Spanning Tree message.

Config Pending

The flag that indicates that the system is waiting to transmit a configuration Spanning Tree
message.

When Spanning Tree protocol is enabled on the CyberSWITCH, the following Spanning Tree
Bridge Information is available. This information is generated by issuing the

br stpbrdg

Spanning Tree command.

Bridge Address

The MAC address of the CyberSWITCH.

Bridge Priority

The configured priority for the CyberSWITCH.

Root Address

The MAC address of the root bridge.
