Maintenance/Cleaning
7.3 Cleaning & Replacing the fans
The inverter is equipped with fifteen fans. Two of the fans are installed in the right-top side of the housing to
provide ventilation of enclosure. One of the fan is installed in the left-top side of the housing to provide circula-
tion of enclosure. Three of the fans are installed in the front of the housing to provide circulation of PEBB. Nine
of the fans are installed in the rear of the housing to provide ventilation of heat sink and reactor. The fans must
be cleaned on a regular basis to ensure maximum performance. If there are any problems with the fans, repair
or replace them.
7.3.1 Accessing the fans
Cleaning & Replacing the AC inverter fans
" Switch off the inverter
" Open the AC part door
" Cleaning or replacing the fans
" Close the AC door
" Switching on the inverter
Cleaning & Replacing the DC inverter fans
" Switch off the inverter
" Open the DC side inverter panel
" Cleaning or replacing the fans
" Close the DC side inverter panel
" Switching on the inverter
Cleaning & Replacing the rear PEBB fans and reactor fans
" Switch off the inverter
" Open the rear top cover and bottom cover
" Unfasten the bolts in duct rear cover
" Cleaning or replacing the fans
" Fasten the bolts in duct rear cover
" Close the rear top cover and bottom cover
" Switching on the inverter
Cleaning & Replacing the front PEBB fans
" Switch off the inverter
" Open the front door
" Cleaning or replacing the fans on the PEBB module
" Close the front door
" Switching on the inverter
