Setting Switches of Operation Mode

These switches are provided on the CPU front panel. They control the

following functions.

(1) Programmer/S-LS(selection) Switch

T-PDS

T-PDS direct connection mode : Operate as the
Programmer.

ON

S-LS

S-LS connection mode : Operate as the tool for setting
parameter for TL-S20LP.Or operate as the remote
programmer T-PDS via TL-S20LP.

(2) ROM/RAM Switch

Setting

CPU operation
at power up and at the beginning of the RUN mode

Function

OFF

ROM

Starts up after the content of the EEPROM has been
transferred to the RAM.
(Transfer is not executed when P-RUN is selected.)

ON

RAM

Starts up on the content of the RAM.
(No program transfer)

The ROM/RAM switch is set to ROM at the factory.

ROM/RAM Switch

CPU reads this status when power
is changed from OFF to ON or when
operation mode is changed to RUN.

RUN/Stand-by Switch

CPU reads these switches status
only when power turns to ON.

NOTE

Programmer/S-LS (selection) switch is set to Programmer at the factory.
