Begin recording using the same procedure as for the CL1 track, and at the first beat
of the first measure (MEASURE display 001:1), press and hold the CL3 pad. Continue
holding it for three beats, and release it immediately before 001:4.

2.4.6 Creating the COMPOSED LOOP 4 track

Sampling

We will sample track 45-13: “*Radiator” from the included audio CD to the COM-
POSED LOOP 4 track (subsequently referred to as CL3).

The sampling procedure is the same as described on page ?? of the preceding sec-
tion, “Building Your Own Song.”

Set the sampling grade to “22K 8BIT MONO L.”

Modifying the sound

For the CL4 track, we will set the following parameters.

Make these settings using the same procedure as you did for the LOOP 1 and 2
tracks.

Loop length setting

Using the same procedure as you did for LOOP 2, set the sample loop length of the
CL4 track to “LOOP LENGTH=032.”
