How To Stop Recording

Press the

button to stop recording.

The sequencer displays

PROCESSING

... briefly, then jumps back to the position

at which you started the recording session.

NOTE:
The SU700 does not update the environment when jumping back to the earlier position;
the knob settings, scenes, and mutes remains exactly as they were when you finished re-
cording. If you wish to restore the song’s true environment, you must set up and recall
scenes as necessary.

How To Start Playback

1.

If the sequencer is not currently in PLAY STANDBY mode, press the

or [CAN-

CEL] button to set the sequencer into PLAY STANDBY.

2.

If necessary, adjust the song to the location at which you want to begin playback.

3.

Press

to begin playback.

The sequencer begins playback, starting from the current location.

How To Stop Playback

Press the

button.

The sequencer stops playback. The song position location does not change. You
can resume playback from the same position simply by pressing

.

How to Adjust the Location

You can adjust the position while the sequencer is in PLAY STANDBY, PLAY, or REC
STANDBY. You cannot adjust the position while the sequencer is recording.

Using the Buttons
◆ Press

to fast-forward.

◆ Press

to fast-reverse.

◆ Press

to jump back to the song start (position 001:1).
