History of New Features

This section contains the history of new features in the AT-S63
management software.

Version 2.1.0

Table 1 lists the new features in version 2.1.0 of the AT-S63 management
software.

Note

The AT-9408LC

⁄SP, AT-9424T/GB, and AT-9424T/SP switches do

not support the IPv4 packet routing feature. However, these
switches do allow you to create one routing interface as a means of
assigning an IP address to the unit to support those management
functions where an IP address is necessary.

Note

When an AT-9400 Series switch with an IP address is upgraded
from AT-S63 version 1.3.0 or earlier to the latest version, a routing
interface is automatically created on the device to preserve the IP
configuration. The interface is assigned to the same VLAN that
functioned as the switch’s management VLAN. If the switch does not
have an IP address, no routing interface is created. For further
information on routing interfaces, refer to Chapter 32, “Internet
Protocol Version 4 Packet Routing” in the latest version of the
AT-S63 Management Software Command Line Interface User’s
Guide
.
