4. Next control – a field for entering expiry date of the minimum sample.

2 weeks before the expiry date the pictogram on minimum sample

status displayed in the mass measuring window section is

supplemented by a clock. It informs on the approaching expiry of the

minimum sample. Contact KERN representative to carry out necessary

changes in minimum sample settings.

5. Limits – option that enables entering data on the mass value of a

minimum sample and range of packaging mass (tare) with applicable

criteria:

Tare – maximum value of tare for which the minimum sample is valid.

the software enables entering three characteristic quantities: 0.000g,

optional mass from balance measuring range and Max balance

measuring range (see a below example).

Minimum mass – the value of minimum mass that is determined for

a balance in its place of use and using appropriate methods.

Example no. 1 a balance AET 200-4NM:
