18.1. Comparison of sample and (reference) mass standard
Comparison of samples with a mass standard can be carried out through:

Giving mass of a standard, using <

Give reference mass> soft key;

Accepting current mass loaded on the weighing pan as a reference

mass, using <

Set as 100%> soft key;

Selecting a product from database of products, where parameter mass

of a product entry is defined, using <

Database of Products> soft

key.

PROCEDURE 1 – manual declaration of reference mass

Press <

Give reference mass > soft key

In an opened window type in value of reference mass and accept it by

pressing <

> key

All weighed products are compared with the reference mass, and the

display indicates difference between weighed objects in [%].

PROCEDURE 2 – accepting currently loaded mass as reference (standard)

Place a sample on balance’s weighing pan

On stabilization of measurement result press <

Set as 100%> soft

key

The display indicates 100.000%, mass is accepted as reference, and

automatically saved in (reference) mass standard field.

Unload the sample from balance’s weighing pan

All samples weighed afterwards are compared with the reference mass,

and the display indicates the difference, expressed in [%], for each

weighed sample in relation to the reference mass.

PROCEDURE 3 – selecting a product from Database of Products

Press <

Database of Products> soft key, select a product entry to be

weighed from a list of displayed products

On selecting, the grey coloured workspace automatically updates its

content with data on Reference Mass

Mass of the weighed product is automatically inserted in field: reference

mass, which is activated by pressing <

> soft key

The display indicates 0.00 % (if the weighing pan is unloaded)

All samples weighed afterwards are compared with the reference mass,

and the display indicates the difference, expressed in [%], for each

weighed sample in relation to the reference mass.
