12.4.2.1 Redundancy: primary to backup Switching
The available modes of redundancy operation are:
• Automatic switching
• Manual switching
• Manual switch back

12.4.2.2 CDD-880 Automatic Redundancy Operation
In the Automatic switching mode, the NetVue server automatically monitors and backs up the primary
CDD-880 chain.
To use Automatic redundancy operation, make sure that Automatic switching is the selected mode.
12.4.2.3 CDD-880 Manual Redundancy Operation
In Manual switching mode, you must select and switch the primary CDD-880.
To use Manual redundancy operation, make sure that Manual switching is the selected mode.
