parentheses. To conveniently accept the current value, just press Enter.

Setting the Ethernet Port IP Address

Before you configure the Ethernet IP address, you should know the IP address
and subnet mask that are to be assigned to this port. They may be displayed
on the work order, or you may obtain or determine the appropriate IP address
by consulting with the network administrator.

The IAD is shipped with the IP address set to

192.168.1.254

and the

subnet mask set to

255.255.255.0

. To configure a port IP address, follow

the steps below.

On the Main menu, type “2.” The IAD displays the Router Configuration
menu (Figure 2.3).
