Section 6 — Effects and Titles
When working with mask shapes, these tools function as follows:
Select Object
Select a shape on which to perform operations such as move (position),
scale and rotation.
Shortcut key: [ S ]
Edit Shape
Edit the vertex of a shape and change its contours.
Shortcut key: [ E ]
Add Vertex
Add a vertex to a shape path.
Note When a vertex is added, it is added to all keyframes for that shape on the time
axis.
Shortcut key: [ A ]
Delete Vertex
Delete a vertex in the shape path.
Note When a vertex is deleted, it is deleted from all keyframes for that shape on the
time axis.
Shortcut key: [ D ]
Edit Control Point
Edit a control point on the shape path.
Shortcut key: [ C ]
Zoom and Pan Tools
- Zoom Tool . Zooms in on the center of the drag start point as the mouse
cursor is dragged above the point or zooms out on the center of the drag
point by dragging below it.
Shortcut key: [ Z ]
- Pan Tool . Moves the display in the Preview window as you drag the
mouse cursor.
Shortcut key: [ H ]
