FAQ

Q: I have inserted the battery into the phone, why is there no response?

A: First, please make sure the battery is fully charged. Then, you need to turn on the

phone by pressing the red Power Key. A boot up logo will be displayed, followed by a white

screen that will also be replaced by the Windows CE screen when the phone is booted up.

Q: It sometimes appears that connection with AP is not as stable. What should I do

then?

A: In most cases, the phone unit will re-establish a network session without difficulty.

However, in some rare cases, this may require a reboot of the phone units. For a total

reboot, please i) take out battery, ii) re-insert battery, iii) press Power Key.

For developers where large file exchange is required, we recommend to conduct the data

exchange with a USB cable to avoid unnecessary interruption.

Q: I was surfing the Internet, but somehow Internet Explorer or Media Player stops

responding, why?

A: There is a chance that you have lost your connection to your AP. Please return to the

Main screen and check if the antenna icon is displaying the “No Signal” icon or if the IP

address is displayed as “0.0.0.0”. If this is the case, try to reconnect to the AP, or reboot

the phone.

Q: I have displayed a pop up menu, but I want to return to the previous screen without

making any selection, how?

A: Press again the same key that pops up the menu.

Q: How do I toggle checking/unchecking a checkbox?

A: Press the OK or the 0 Key.

Q: I have switched off the phone using the Power Key, how can I switch it on again?

A: The Power Key will switch off the phone. Pressing the Power Key again will switch it

back on.

Q: I am at the dialing screen, but I have decided not to dial out. How do I get out of

this screen?

A: To escape from the dialing screen without dialing, press the End Key. This will take you

back to the Main screen.
