Parameters
acknowledgements
The acknowledgements option acknowledges RSVP Hellos on interfaces not having RSVP
sessions.
interval
The interval option is the interval between two RSVP Hello requests. The default is nine
seconds and the range is 1 - 60 seconds.
tolerance
The tolerance option is the number of unacknowledged RSVP Hello requests before time-out
specified by the dec variable. The default is 3 and the range is 1 - 255.
Command
modes
This command operates in MPLS RSVP configuration mode (config-mpls-rsvp).
Usage guidelines
By default, acknowledgements are not sent on mpls-interface supporting RSVP Hello when no
sessions are taking that interface.
These default values are always auto-generated on to the configuration for ease of understanding
what values are taken by the interface from the user’s perspective.
CAUTION
When disabling RSVP hello, please disable it on both sides of the link at the same time to avoid
bringing down all the RSVP sessions going over that link.
