Meaning

Configure

The component is not configured.

Down

The disk path is not logically accessible. In SCF, the equivalent state is
STOPPED, substate DOWN.

Exclusive Diagnostics The processor is performing diagnostics.

Exclusive

Exclusive ownership has been declared for this disk volume, and the disk is
not accessible to other users.

Format

Disk format in progress.

Hard Down

The disk volume or disk path was put in this state by an OSM Abort action
or an SCF ABORT command, or it is physically inaccessible because of a
hardware error. In SCF, the equivalent state is STOPPED, substate
HARDDOWN.

Inaccessible

Disk cannot be accessed.

Revival

A mirrored disk is being updated.

Special Mount

Only maintenance-type I/O operations can be performed on the disk.

Unknown

The disk might not be responding.

Up

The disk path is logically accessible. This state is equivalent to the
STARTED state in SCF.

Power State

Powered On

Meaning

On

Component is powered on.

Off

Component is powered off.

There might be a problem with the backup power supply for
this component. (The Redundant Power Scrub action could not
determine the exact cause of the problem.)
