Door Latches, Operator Handles, and Unit Interlocks

Chapter 5

Locking Units in the OFF/O Position

Follow these procedures to lock a unit in the
OFF/O position.

1.

Turn the small rotary-operator handle to
the OFF/O position.

2.

Push and hold the button on the handle.
The lock opening is now visible.

3.

Insert and secure the lock.

Up to three 8 mm locks can be inserted.

Locking Units in the ON/I Position

Locking units in the ON/I position requires user modification. To modify the
operator handle to allow locking in the ON/I position, follow the procedure
illustrated in

Figure 18

.
