13. Frame Size Mix Indicates frame sizes to be sent during information rate tests. For

example, A sequence "uau" will indicate a user defined frame size, followed by a 64
bytes frame size, followed by a user defined frame size again, and then repeating the
cycle.

14. Rate step decrease This selection is used to continue executing SA tests for information

rate when you fail a CIR rate. For example, if the CIR test fails for 100M and if the rate
step decrease is set to 10%, then a new CIR test is automatically executed at 90M. This
process continues until "rate > 0.1* CIR".

15. Rate step length Indicates the test duration for each step. The rate step length must be

large enough to accommodate at least 10 DMM frames for DM.

16. Behavior on step failure Exit Indicates if the test continues to the next step or exists

when an individual step has failed.

17. Directionality Indicates that the SAT is single ended.

18. CBS test line rate(Mbps) Line rate at which burst traffic should be sent for the CBS test

19. CBS test traffic priority By default, user traffic has priority. If the test traffic is selected,

the user traffic may be dropped because of the contention with the user traffic

20. CBS test cycles Number of test cycles for CBS tests. The range is 1-5.

21. DM Tool DM/SLM. Determines which PDUs to send for FD/FDV calculations.

22. DM/SLM frame rate Transmission rate for DM/SLM frame generation.

23. DM/SLM frame size (bytes) Payload size for DM/SLM frames.

24. Loss Ratio criteria(%) Determines the acceptable frame loss criteria for information rate

tests.

4.9.2.2 Modifying an SA Profile

1. To view or modify an existing SA profile, on the SA Profiles List screen (Figure 4-62) type
