5.2.4.5 L2CP Port Filters

To enable or disable port filters, on the Port Filters screen (Figure 5-14), type 4 and press Enter.
The L2CP Port Filters screen (Figure 5-15) opens.

Type the number of the filter you wish to modify and press Enter. Press the Space bar to enable
or disable the filter. Press Esc to return to the previous screen.

NOTE: These filters are for both User and Network ports. You cannot set a filter for only one type

of port.

1. STP MSTP RSTP BPDU Filter These protocols may co-exist on a carrier network. When

this attribute is enabled, the 9145E filters packets related to any of these protocols:

STP (Spanning Tree Protocol)

MSTP (Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol)

RSTP (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol)

BPDU (Bridge protocol data units)
